En la micromuestra tomada de la cortina se comprobó que la grisalla estaba realizada con aceite de lino, trementina de Venecia y barniz de almáciga. La capa de grisalla en esta zona de la pintura es gruesa, habiendo identificado una mezcla de aceite de lino, trementina de Venecia y resina de almáciga, según se determinó en el cromatograma que aparece. Observación con luz UV (Objetivo MPLan 50X/0,75).
The microsample taken from the curtain shows that the grisaille coat in this area of the painting is thick, and consists of a mixture of linseed oil, turpentine and mastic resin, as identified in the adjoining chromatogram. Observation under UV light (Mplan objective lens 50X/0.75).
